My U.S. History class is wrapping up the American Frontier this week and will be quizzing on Thursday.
My Law class took a quiz today and will be finishing up the Intro to law/Making Laws Unit this week and should expect a test sometime early next week.
My World History classes just finished an activity about pre-Revolution France, simulating the dire food situation that plaqued France and acted as a major catalyst to the revolution. All of the kids did a pretty good job. Each of my 3 sections should be expecting a quiz on the French Revolution in the near future.

Week of Sept. 20-24

Just wanted to give an update on where we are. My World History classes are wrapping up the Enlightenment and will be quizzing about mid-week. Our next unit will be the French Revolution...Vive La France!!
My US History II class is finishing up the unit on the American Frontier. We will be beginning the HBO movie Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, about the last years of the conflicts between the Native Americans and the U.S. government. Its based on a book of the same title and is quite good. We will be having a quiz on the American Frontier, most likely early next week.
My law class just finished getting through an introduction to criminal and civil law, and are now beginning to learn about the law making process. Until next week...
